Aspirus Health is set to conduct a Community Education Program in Portage on February 20. The program, titled "Menopause Facts and Options," aims to provide attendees with information about menopause, its symptoms, and available treatment options. Rebecca England, M.D., FACOG, an OB/GYN Specialist at Aspirus Portage Clinic, will lead the session.
"This program is designed to be an informative and empowering session for women focused on understanding menopause and navigating this life stage with confidence," stated Dr. England. "We will focus on practical knowledge and resources to help participants make informed decisions if they are currently experiencing menopause or want to prepare for the future."
The topics of discussion will include expectations during menopause, common symptoms and their impact on daily life, prescription treatments for symptom management, and alternative approaches such as lifestyle changes and holistic remedies.
The event will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Aspirus Divine Savior Hospital and Clinic Conference Room A located at 2817 New Pinery Road. While the program is free of charge, advanced registration is encouraged by calling 608.745.3868 during business hours from Monday to Friday.
