EDA awards over $7 million in grants for economic development projects in Wisconsin in 2023

In 2023, the Economic Development Administration (EDA) issued 12 grants totaling $7,704,449 to fund economic development projects in Wisconsin.

This represents a 78% decrease from 2022, when the state received $35,096,585 in funding.

Wisconsin ranked 22nd across the U.S. in total EDA grant funding for 2023. South Carolina topped the list with $30,038,466 in funding across 14 grants.

Lac Du Flambeau Band received the largest EDA grant for funding an economic development project in the state, totalling $2,638,075.
