Over the past year, Aspirus Health Foundation has distributed grants exceeding $250,000 in the Stevens Point/Plover area. These funds have supported various initiatives at Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital.

The foundation manages over two dozen donor-directed funds, continuing its tradition of philanthropy. The funds aim to enhance patient safety, experience, and outcomes at Aspirus Health facilities.

Recent funding included $126,971 for wireless fetal monitors in the Women and Infant Center and $16,889 for an In-Body Composition Analyzer for Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation. Other projects included patient transport assistance and Christmas gifts in oncology.

In January 2025, Joe and Cindy Kinsella donated a significant gift that enabled the purchase of a new breast biopsy machine for the hospital's Breast Care Center.

Aspirus Health Foundation also provided external community grants. These included $10,000 to CAP Services for mental health navigation support and $25,000 each for a local breast cancer awareness campaign and Wisconsin Dental Association's Mission of Mercy event.

The foundation expressed gratitude to donors and its eight local philanthropy committee members who contribute to supporting Aspirus Health's mission. Members include Pamela Beyer, PsyD; Clare Cullen, APNP; Leah Knights; Candise Miller; Michael Munagian, MD; Erik Carlson; Jeff Lutgen; and Joe Kinsella.
