A Powerball ticket worth $50,000 was sold at Trevor Mini Mart BP in Trevor, Wisconsin for the July 28, 2025 drawing. The ticket matched four out of five numbers (7-35-36-43-62) and the Powerball (3), according to the Wisconsin Lottery.
No one matched all five numbers plus the Powerball, so the jackpot for the next drawing on July 30 is estimated at $384 million.
Powerball.com reported that there were four $50,000 winners nationwide in this drawing. One of those tickets, sold in California with a 3X Power Play, resulted in a $150,000 prize. In Wisconsin alone, there were 5,134 winning tickets from this draw with prizes ranging from $4 to $50,000. There are nine different prize levels available in Powerball.
This win continues a strong month for Powerball players in Wisconsin. In July, state players have won four $50,000 prizes and two top prizes of $2 million.
Retailers selling winning tickets over $599 receive a two percent incentive on those sales through the Retailer Performance Winning Ticket Incentive program. This incentive can be as much as $100,000 per ticket.
Winners have up to 180 days from the draw date to claim their prizes. Information about claiming winnings is available at https://www.wilottery.com/. Players can also check their tickets using the Wisconsin Lottery mobile app on both iOS and Android devices.
Powerball drawings take place three times a week—Monday, Wednesday and Saturday—at 9:59 p.m., with ticket sales closing at 9:00 p.m. each night of a drawing. Each play costs $2; an additional dollar adds the Power Play feature.
The odds of winning the jackpot are about one in 292 million; odds for winning a $50,000 prize are roughly one in 913 thousand.
