Aspirus Medford Hospital and Clinic is offering a free educational session titled "Preparing for Pregnancy" on Monday, September 22 at 4:00 p.m. The program aims to help community members prepare for a healthy pregnancy by providing information and practical tools.
The session will cover topics such as scheduling pre-pregnancy appointments, tracking ovulation, understanding fertility cycles, quitting smoking and alcohol before pregnancy, choosing appropriate vitamins and supplements, building healthy habits through diet and exercise, managing stress, using pregnancy tests, scheduling the first prenatal appointment, and connecting with local prenatal resources.
Elizabeth Edinger, WHNP-BC, CLC from Aspirus Medford Clinic will lead the event. She stated, “Preparing for pregnancy is one of the best investments you can make in your future family’s health. This program equips participants with knowledge and resources to help them feel confident as they begin this exciting journey.”
The event will take place in the Community Education Room at Aspirus Medford Hospital and Clinic located at 135 South Gibson Street in Medford. Light refreshments will be available. While there is no cost to attend, advance registration is requested by calling 715-748-8103 ext. 17245.
