Wisconsin residents concerned with allegations of voter irregularities in the Nov. 3 presidential election are being encouraged to lobby state legislators to convene a special session to consider such reports.
“Time for state legislators to take the Election seriously. President@realDonaldTrump needs you to DEMAND they call a SPECIAL SESSION & hear the evidence. Contact your state legislators NOW!” Team Trump said in a tweet.
The Trump campaign is asking residents in four key swing states - Georgia, Wisconsin, Michigan and Arizona - to contact lawmakers.
In Wisconsin, several issues are alleged including a postal worker who said “something profoundly wrong happened” with mail-in ballots in the election.
A poll watcher said once they self-identified as a Republican they were disallowed from properly viewing the vote tabulation.
The Wisconsin Elections Commission also provided county clerks with certified absentee ballots with the improper information.
The Trump campaign also said voting machines in the state need further inspection.
