The number of employees on nonfarm payrolls for Jan. in the Eau Claire metropolitan statistical area was 83,600, a 2.1 percent decrease from the previous month, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.

In Dec. 2020, Eau Claire reported 85,400 workers on nonfarm payrolls.
