Spectators at the LaBahn Arena on Oct. 10 witnessed a sweep of St. Cloud State as the Badgers acquired a 6-1 win.
“We can all finish and we can all pass really well so it makes it easy," said Daryl Watts.
With just over one minute into the game, Watts made a goal to open up the play, and thus, the Badgers started off on the right foot.
Aside from making two goals herself, Watts assisted in three other goals and showed exemplary gameplay.
The co-captains of UW started the game by showing off the NCAA championship trophy around the rink to all the fans who didn’t get to see it in person last season owing to the raging pandemic. In the coming two weekends, UW will be playing against Minnesota Duluth and Ohio State.
