528 illegal aliens were arrested in April 2024 alone for crimes, including murder, sex crimes against children, human trafficking, and drug smuggling. Three of these offenders were apprehended in Wisconsin on charges including driving under the influence, hit-and-run, and first-degree sexual assault of a child, according to an analysis from Restoration News.

A report from Restoration News found that over 500 illegal alien alleged criminals were arrested in April alone. This figure included 20 illegal aliens arrested on murder charges.

On April 9, Ezquiel Cruz was arrested in Trempealeau County for operating a vehicle while intoxicated, his fourth time being charged with that crime. He was placed on an ICE detainer.

In Green Bay on April 7, Francisco Bravo-Salgado was placed on an immigration hold after being arrested for driving under the influence and hit-and-run.

On April 10 in Trempealeau County, Ulises Granados was arrested on charges including child enticement and first-degree sexual assault. He was placed on an ICE detainer. As WXOW reported, the alleged victim — who told police that she was repeatedly sexually assaulted between the ages of 7 and 9 in 2015 and 2016 — "said Granados told her to 'just watch her phone' while he was assaulting her. She also said he promised her money to perform sex acts on him, one time giving her $20, which she used to buy items at the school book fair."

Jose Ibarra, who entered the US illegally in 2022, was charged with malice murder, felony murder, aggravated battery, aggravated assault, false imprisonment, kidnapping, hindering a 911 call, and concealing the death of Laken Riley, a 22 year old student at UGA. According to a report from the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Ibarra’s arrest warrant accused him of “disfiguring her skull,” and concealed her death by “dragging the victim to a secluded area.” Ibarra had previously been arrested by federal and local authorities in multiple jurisdictions prior to Riley’s murder, according to the report.

The Laken Riley Act would require the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to detain non-citizens who have been arrested for crimes like burglary, theft, and shoplifting. The bill passed through the House for consideration by the US Senate. All five Democratic members of Georgia's House delegation, Reps. Sanford (D), Hank Johnson (D), Lucy McBath (D), David Scott (D), and Nikema Williams (D), voted against the bill.

Since President Biden took office, over 7.2 million illegal immigrants have entered the United States. According to a report from Fox News, this figure is larger than the population of 36 US States.
