Analysis: Four illegal aliens arrested in Wisconsin for crimes including false imprisonment, battery

More than 400 illegal aliens were arrested in June 2024 and charged with serious crimes including murder, rape, sex crimes against children, human trafficking, and domestic violence. Four of these offenders were apprehended in Wisconsin on charges including false imprisonment and battery.

According to the Restoration News report, on June 7 Celso Garcia Duran was arrested in Dane County on charges of false imprisonment, battery, disorderly conduct, and violating probation. Restoration News further reported that Duran was placed on an immigration hold. 

According to the report, Jeyson Tinoco-Diaz was arrested on June 9 for resisting/obstructing an officer, and was placed on an immigration detainer. 

On June 19, Manuel Hernandez-Cisnero was arrested in Brown County, charged with failure to maintain sex offender registry, and was placed on an ICE detainer. 

Giovani Lapadat was arrested on June 20 in Dane County on charges of credit fraud and improperly possessing a credit card scanning device. He was placed on an immigration hold, according to an X post from Illegal Alien Crimes. 

A joint report from the House Committee on Oversight and the House Committee on Homeland Security, there have been over 8 million migrant encounters nationwide under the Biden-Harris administration. 6.7 million of these encounters occured on the southwest border. Additionally, the report noted that there at 1.7 million known gotaways, or illegal immigrants who evaded border patrol and were not vetted in any way by immigration officials. 

A poll from American Greatness found that only 13% of Wisconsin voters believe that immigration over the past few years has improved their quality of life.
