Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce (WMC) announced Monday that Adam Jordahl has joined the organization as its new Director of Environmental & Energy Policy. Jordahl brings years of policy, lobbying, and communications experience to WMC’s Government Relations team.

“Adam is a fantastic fit for WMC,” said WMC Executive Vice President of Government Relations Scott Manley. “His background and vision make him a perfect asset to our team as we work to make Wisconsin the most competitive state to do business in, protecting taxpayers and advocating for our members.”

Jordahl previously served as WMC’s Associate Director of Government Relations from 2018 through 2020. He then worked as the Communications and Government Relations Manager for The Hamilton Consulting Group, a government affairs firm representing leading national and Wisconsin employers and industry trade and professional associations. At Hamilton, Jordahl represented clients, monitored legislation and administrative rules, conducted policy research, and managed communications.

“I am excited to be back at WMC and join this talented and passionate team again,” said Jordahl. “Wisconsin businesses need an advocate to represent their interests and defend against government overreach, and I’m honored to be part of that voice.”

Jordahl earned a bachelor’s degree from Rice University in Houston, Texas. He is a Wisconsin native residing in Watertown with his wife.
