Wisconsin Builders Association backs workforce housing initiative

The Wisconsin Builders Association (WBA) has declared its support for the Workforce Housing Package. This initiative, led by Representative Robert Brooks and Senator Romaine Quinn, aims to boost the availability of workforce housing across Wisconsin.

"We are pleased with the collaboration with our industry partners in finding creative ways to solve the workforce housing deficit," stated WBA President Mike Howe.

The package includes five bills that have garnered the association's backing. "We are looking forward to this housing package making its way through the legislature, and ultimately, being signed into law so we can take a big step forward in closing the housing gap," expressed WBA Executive Director Brad Boycks.

The Wisconsin Builders Association is a professional trade group made up of 21 local associations. It advocates for 4,000 members in the home building industry to ensure housing remains affordable and accessible for families throughout Wisconsin. The organization has been dedicated to protecting what it calls "the American Dream" for over 70 years.
