Aspirus Iron River Clinic has announced the addition of Amber Heuss, a certified nurse practitioner, to its team. Heuss is recognized for her focus on comprehensive and preventive family care, aiming to enhance long-term health and wellness.
Heuss holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Her certifications include Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and Basic Life Support. She is board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
Having previously worked at Aspirus Eagle River, Heuss is well-known within the Iron River community. "I’m excited to contribute to the health and well-being of residents in the Upper Peninsula. With a strong focus on managing chronic conditions, women's health, mental health, and preventive care, I am dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care for all,” she stated.
Heuss is committed to enhancing access to healthcare through both acute same-day visits and preventive services. Outside her professional life, she enjoys biking, hiking, outdoor activities, and spending time with her family.
