Rep. Gwen Moore, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Wisconsin’s 4th district, has voiced her criticisms of former President Donald Trump through a series of tweets. Moore has been in Congress since 2005, succeeding Jerry Kleczka, and previously served in the Wisconsin State Assembly and Senate.

On January 30, 2025, Rep. Moore expressed her views on a national tragedy by stating that "Trump has no clue what caused this horrific tragedy but that doesn’t stop him from blaming his favorite boogeyman - people of color." She further criticized Trump's actions by noting his reduction of FAA and aviation safety personnel.

The following day, January 31, 2025, she continued her critique by tweeting that "This national tragedy is a reminder that Donald Trump is incapable of offering real leadership." She highlighted Trump's cuts to aviation safety staff while accusing him of deflecting blame onto others.

Later on January 31, Moore addressed economic issues related to trade policies during Trump's presidency. She stated that "Trump tariffs are bad for the economy," emphasizing their negative impact on farmers, factory workers, and small businesses affected by rising costs and lost markets due to Trump's trade war strategies.
