On February 7, 2025, Moore expressed frustration over being blocked from accessing the Department of Education for conducting fact-finding missions as members of Congress. She accused both the current Administration and Elon Musk of attempting illegal actions against the Department of Education. "We’ve been blocked from accessing the Department of Education to do our jobs as members of Congress to conduct our fact-finding mission as this Administration and Elon Musk want to illegally dismantle the DOE."
