Rep. Gwen Moore, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Wisconsin's 4th district since 2005, recently took to social media to express her concerns about the treatment of members of Congress and actions by the current administration. Her series of tweets on February 7 and 8, 2025, highlighted her ongoing efforts to hold the Musk-Trump administration accountable.

In a tweet dated February 7, Rep. Moore remarked on an encounter at an entrance: "The doors say ALL ACCESS ENTRANCE! They’re treating members of Congress as if we’re armed thugs." This statement suggests that she feels disrespected by how congressional members are being treated.

Later on the same day, she reported another incident involving restricted access: "Members of Congress were denied entrance at all access doors to the Department of Education this morning. But you know if Elon Musk and his cronies show up, they'll let them right in. The Musk-Trump admin want to slash public education and prevent Dems from conducting…" Here, Rep. Moore criticized what she perceives as preferential treatment towards certain individuals and policies detrimental to public education.

On February 8, Rep. Moore commented on her busy schedule while reaffirming her commitment to accountability: "It's been a busy week in Washington, and I'll be right back after a brief visit to my district. I will continue to stand against the lawless Musk-Trump administration and demand accountability, no matter what it takes." This tweet underscores her dedication to opposing what she considers unlawful actions by the current administration.
