Aspirus Medford Hospital and Clinic has launched an expanded Wound Care program aimed at providing local access to necessary wound care and treatment. Proper wound care is crucial to prevent serious complications such as cellulitis or sepsis.
Residents dealing with persistent wounds or those seeking more information about wound care are invited to attend a community education event, “Wound Care Solutions,” scheduled for Tuesday, March 4 at 6 p.m.
Haley Erl, DNP, CWCN-AP, will present the event, offering insights into wound management and treatment options. The session will also cover collaborative efforts needed to promote healing.
The program will take place in the Community Education Room at Aspirus Medford Hospital located at 135 South Gibson Street. Light refreshments will be available for attendees.
