Rep. Gwen Moore, a longstanding member of the U.S. Congress representing Wisconsin's 4th district, has taken to social media to express her views on recent political and social issues. Moore, who has been serving in Congress since 2005, shared her perspectives through a series of tweets.

On March 25, 2025, Rep. Moore criticized billionaire Howard Lutnick and the GOP for their stance on Social Security checks. She stated: "Billionaire Howard Lutnick and the GOP say missing a Social Security check is no big deal. Tell that to the millions of Americans who need it." Moore further commented on what she perceives as a lack of concern from the GOP regarding Social Security: "This isn’t just callous commentary—it’s insight into the GOP: they don’t care about you so why not starve Social Security."

Later that day, Moore addressed budget cuts and their implications for social safety nets. She tweeted: "'A flood of cuts led by Elon Musk has sent the agency into chaos.' The GOP plan: sacrifice the social safety net to make room for tax cuts for Elon and Wall Street." She expressed concern over economic disparities: "Fail to be born rich or get rich? Have the audacity to get old? You're on your own."

In another tweet posted on March 25, 2025, Rep. Moore highlighted gender pay disparity in recognition of Equal Pay Day. She stated: "Today is #EqualPayDay—a reminder that women still earn less than men for the same work. Equal work deserves equal pay." Moore urged continued progress in workplace equality: "Now is the time to push forward, not to rollback decades of progress by stripping protections for women in the workplace."
