Richard Schultz, a resident of Illinois and an employee at the Volo Auto Museum, recently claimed a $350,000 prize from the SuperCash! lottery in Wisconsin. Schultz purchased seven plays for the February 22, 2025 drawing, specifically choosing this date as it marks his late brother Peter's birthday.
"SuperCash! is my favorite game and playing the February 22 date felt right. I just had a feeling it was going to be a lucky day," said Schultz after his win.
The winning ticket matched all six numbers, marking it as the third $350,000 winning ticket sold in February for SuperCash!. Schultz bought his ticket from Genoa City BP Operating Corp., located at 100 Elizabeth Ln. in Genoa City. He frequently visits Wisconsin for gas purchases and describes Genoa City BP as his preferred location due to its friendly staff.
"The Genoa City BP is my go-to spot for gas and Lottery tickets. The employees are super friendly. They are the reason I go there," he explained.
Prior to Schultz's win, the largest prize sold by Genoa City BP was a $24,999 Badger 5 jackpot. Expressing joy over his victory and appreciation for the store that sold him the ticket, Schultz stated, "I’m really happy for the store. They deserve this win too."
Wisconsin Lottery provides incentives to retailers who sell winning tickets over $599 through their Retailer Performance Program Winning Ticket Incentive.
SuperCash! conducts daily drawings every day of the week with tickets needing purchase before 9 p.m. The game costs $1 for two plays and includes a no-cost Doubler feature.
The probability of winning SuperCash!'s top prize is 1:1,631,312 compared to Badger 5’s odds of 1:169,911.
