Grant Regional Health Center has expanded its orthopedic surgical offerings with three new procedures: Direct Anterior Approach Hip Replacement Surgery, Reverse Total Shoulder Replacement Surgery, and Robotic-Assisted Knee Replacement Surgery. These advancements aim to provide improved mobility and quality of life for patients in the region.
The Direct Anterior Approach Hip Replacement Surgery is a minimally invasive procedure offering less pain and faster recovery. "This minimally invasive procedure can provide less pain, faster recovery, and quicker return to daily activities," states Grant Regional Health Center. Utilizing VELYS Hip Navigation technology enhances accuracy during surgery by analyzing fluoroscopic images in real time.
For shoulder issues, the Reverse Total Shoulder Replacement Surgery is now available for patients with severe arthritis or irreparable rotator cuff tears. The center explains that this procedure "enables our surgeon to treat patients with conditions that previously had no solution."
Robotic-Assisted Knee Replacement Surgery incorporates state-of-the-art technology to improve precision in implant placement and joint alignment. According to the health center, "The Robotic-Assisted Solution is not a robot that performs surgery independently; instead, it’s a high-tech assistant (or robotic arm) that helps orthopedic surgeons perform a knee replacement with even greater accuracy."
Grant Regional Health Center continues to offer comprehensive orthopedic care through both surgical and non-surgical treatments. Their services include joint replacement, sports injury care, bone health management, advanced diagnostic imaging, and rehabilitation services post-surgery.
