Gwen Moore, a long-serving member of the U.S. Congress representing Wisconsin’s 4th district, has recently shared her views on various issues through a series of tweets. Moore, who succeeded Jerry Kleczka in 2005 and has been active in politics since her tenure in the Wisconsin State Assembly and Senate, continues to express her positions on matters concerning veterans' affairs, personal losses, and national leadership.

On March 16, 2025, Moore highlighted the importance of the Veterans Affairs (VA) system by quoting Major Gwen Sheppard. "The VA is not just a hospital. It is vital for veterans like her," she stated. Moore emphasized her commitment to opposing any efforts aimed at weakening or privatizing the VA.

Later that day, Moore expressed her sorrow over the death of former colleague Nita Lowey. "Heartbroken for the passing of my former colleague and friend Nita Lowey," she wrote. Reflecting on their shared experiences, including a memorable trip to Africa, Moore remembered Lowey as "cheerful and welcoming" and acknowledged her dedication to serving constituents.

On March 17, 2025, Moore criticized former President Donald Trump's use of taxpayer funds for leisure activities during his presidency. "Trump has spent nearly 30 percent of his Presidency on a tax payer funded golf outing," she remarked. She questioned whether it would be preferable for Trump to remain occupied with golf given the state of the economy and administrative challenges during his term.
