Aspirus Divine Savior Hospital and Clinics, in collaboration with Prevention and Response Columbia County, has provided the Portage Police Department with a new medication drop box. This initiative aims to offer a secure method for disposing of unused or expired medications, ensuring safety within the community.

Medication drop boxes are vital in preventing substance misuse by allowing individuals to safely remove medications from their homes. This reduces the risk of misuse or accidental exposure. Additionally, these drop boxes help protect the environment by preventing medications from entering the wastewater system.
