The nomination period for the Wisconsin Cranberry Board will start on April 1, 2025. Producers interested in participating have until May 30, 2025, to request nomination forms. These completed forms, which must include the signatures of five eligible cranberry growers who are not the nominee, should be signed, postmarked, and mailed by the deadline to the DATCP Market Orders Program in Madison, Wisconsin.
The Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP) will oversee the election process, scheduled from July 10 to August 15, 2025. Those selected to the board will begin their three-year terms starting September 1, 2025.
DATCP is responsible for managing elections for various commodity marketing boards within the state. More information regarding the market order boards can be found by contacting the department directly.
