The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) has issued an advisory for fans traveling to Lambeau Field in Green Bay for the NFL Draft, held from April 24 to 26. The department advises fans to plan their travel in advance, utilize the 511wi.gov website for real-time traffic updates, and download the NFL One Pass app for Draft-related information.

Various highway projects are starting across the state, requiring motorists to be cautious in work zones. Significant road construction projects that could affect travel next week include:

- Brown and Outagamie counties: I-41 is open with two lanes in each direction between Appleton and Green Bay. Drivers should be aware of lane shifts and lower speed limits.

- Chippewa County: Daytime lane closures will occur on WIS 29 at 50th Avenue, east of Chippewa Falls.

- Fond du Lac and Winnebago counties: Motorists should expect lane shifts and reduced speed limits on I-41, with all lanes open during the day from County D in Fond du Lac to WIS 26 near Oshkosh.

- Milwaukee and Ozaukee counties: I-43 maintains at least two lanes open each direction between the Marquette Interchange and the village of Grafton but expects various ramp closures.

- Milwaukee County: I-41 has been reduced to two lanes each direction between Burleigh Street and Good Hope Road, with the North Avenue entrance ramp to I-43 northbound closed.

For real-time travel conditions, drivers are encouraged to download the free 511 Wisconsin app, visit the 511wi.gov website, follow @511WI on social media platform X, or dial 511. However, these alerts and updates should not distract drivers, as they should remain focused on the road.

The WisDOT Safety Patrol, sponsored by GEICO, will be active along certain sections of highways, assisting with incident management in construction work zones. The Safety Patrol operates in Brown and Outagamie counties on I-41, Milwaukee County on I-43, and Columbia County on I-39/90/94. For more information about the Safety Patrol, visit the WisDOT website.
