The celebration also includes special appearances by bunnies from Farm & Wilderness, goat kids from Cabin Hill Farm, as well as fiber goat kids and fiber rabbits from Starry Eyed Farm, and lambs from Aker Fiber Farm. Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park rangers will also be present to inform attendees about baby animals in the wild.
The event features wagon rides available from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM and story sessions with a Farm Friend at 11:00 AM, 1:00 PM, and 3:00 PM. Additional activities include an obstacle course, an animal-themed sensory station, and opportunities to engage with farmers.
Food options are available on-site with Sustainable Eats providing smoothies, espresso beverages, and meals. Heidi’s Hot Dogs will be serving their namesake dish, and ice cream and snacks can be purchased, including at the Museum Gift Shop.
Visitors can explore the Art on the Barns Exhibition during their visit. Organized in collaboration with Soapbox Arts, it features works by Vermont artists Elise Whittemore and Will Gebhard, showcasing abstract art that changes with the seasons.
