Wisconsin Agriculture Youth Council members announced for 2025-2026 term

The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP) has announced the members of the sixth Wisconsin Agriculture Youth Council. The council, made up of fifteen high school seniors, will serve a one-year term concluding in May 2026.

The members are: Blake Brancel from Endeavor, Lucy Ehlen from Elkhorn, Alison Gartman from Sheboygan, Easton Hansen from Lake Mills, Owen Moore from Two Rivers, Martina Mullins from Mosinee, Nolan Powers from Mauston, Ashley Schaal from Burlington, Elizabeth Schoeneberg from Poynette, Alyssa Stapelmann from Mazomanie, Danica Stello from Mindoro, Oscar Stowell from Fox Lake, Jadyn Thaemert from Centuria, Libby Vogt from Bloomington, and Addison Wille from Holmen.

DATCP Secretary Randy Romanski expressed his enthusiasm for the council, stating, “Congratulations to the students who were selected for the 2025 – 2026 Wisconsin Agriculture Youth Council. I look forward to meeting with the members to discuss agricultural topics and highlight agricultural career opportunities."

Throughout their senior year, council members will participate in monthly virtual sessions that include presentations, discussions, and networking opportunities with agriculture industry professionals. They will receive a certificate at the end of their term acknowledging their participation.

To become a member of this council, applicants submitted an application which included a brief essay and a one-minute video. The selection process was competitive.
