Howard Young Medical Center, part of Aspirus Health, has received a 5-star rating for cleanliness from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). This recognition places the Woodruff-based hospital among 374 hospitals nationwide noted for their outstanding patient-reported cleanliness, as highlighted by Becker’s Hospital Review.
The evaluation is based on data collected through the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) survey. The surveys were conducted between April 1, 2023, and March 31, 2024, with an update released on January 8, 2025. Howard Young Medical Center was one of 30 hospitals in Wisconsin to receive this top rating, positioning the state as a national leader in cleanliness.
