The U.S. Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations recently held a hearing to discuss the alleged cover-up by public health officials regarding the risks associated with COVID-19 vaccines. Senator Ron Johnson, chair of the committee, said that this hearing is just the beginning of many more to come.

The hearing addressed issues such as vaccine safety, liability protections for vaccine manufacturers, and compensation for those injured by vaccines. It featured testimonies from several witnesses, including Dr. Peter McCullough and attorney Aaron Siri. McCullough expressed concern over the government's handling of safety data related to myocarditis following COVID-19 vaccinations.

Senator Richard Blumenthal and Hawaii Governor Josh Green defended the COVID-19 vaccination campaign during the hearing. Blumenthal praised the vaccines for saving lives, while Green emphasized the importance of science in public health decisions.

Mary Holland, CEO of Children's Health Defense, attended the hearing and thanked Senator Johnson for bringing attention to these issues. She noted that there is a need for dialogue between differing views on vaccine policies.

Johnson concluded the hearing by indicating that addressing these concerns will take time and promised future reports and hearings on this matter.

The subcommittee also released a 55-page report detailing how federal health officials allegedly downplayed myocarditis risks associated with COVID-19 vaccines in 2021. Over 2,400 pages of documents from the Department of Health and Human Services were also made public as part of this investigation.

Blumenthal challenged claims that data was hidden about myocarditis risk and highlighted the life-saving impact of COVID-19 vaccines. However, Siri criticized these claims as being based on unreliable sources.

Witnesses like Dr. Joel Wallskog shared personal experiences related to vaccine injuries, while others presented studies showing potential cardiac harm after vaccination.

Governor Green warned against abandoning public health measures due to skepticism about vaccines and stressed their role in reducing severe outcomes from diseases like COVID-19.
