The Wisconsin Lottery will introduce a new raffle game, the Wisconsin 50/50 Raffle, which will run from August 1 to September 1, 2025. Tickets for the raffle can be purchased at all Wisconsin Lottery retailers across the state and at the Wisconsin State Fair during its first ten days.

Players have several purchase options: one play for $1, six plays for $5, or fifteen plays for $10. Each play is assigned a unique seven-digit number in numerical order starting with 0000001. Players are encouraged to sign their ticket upon receipt and retain it until the drawing takes place on September 2, 2025.

According to Cindy Polzin, Director of the Wisconsin Lottery, "Our Holly Jolly and May Madness Raffles have always been very popular with our players. The Wisconsin 50/50 Raffle is going to be a fun way to engage the entire state, and the most exciting part is, the more plays that are purchased, the larger the winning prize will be."

The format of this new game ensures that only one winner will receive half of all ticket sales accumulated during the month-long event. The odds of winning depend on how many tickets are sold but cannot exceed 9,999,999 plays. The draw date remains fixed regardless of total sales volume. The winning number will be published at lottery retailers and online at wilottery.com on September 2.

To participate, individuals must buy their tickets before September 2 and match their seven-digit number exactly in order with the drawn number to win.
