The Wisconsin Lottery will hold its first mobile validations event in Wausau on August 27. The Winner Wagon, a new mobile unit for prize claims, will be stationed at the Walmart parking lot on 226100 Rib Mountain Dr. from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Lottery players can visit the Winner Wagon to claim prizes up to $200,000 in person. All payments will be issued by check, which can be cashed at any US Bank location or through another preferred method.

According to the Wisconsin Lottery, "when not being used for special events, the Lottery plans to have the Winner Wagon travel around the state to provide an additional option for Lottery winners to claim their prizes if they are unable to make it to the Madison or Milwaukee offices."

Players interested in future locations of the Winner Wagon can find more information at https://wilottery.com/events/winner-wagon.

There are several ways for players to redeem winning tickets:

- Retailers may cash tickets up to $599, depending on store policy.

- Prizes between $600 and $199,999 must be claimed in person at either Madison or Milwaukee Lottery offices.

- Prizes over $200,000 require claiming at the Madison office only.

- Prizes of $199,999 or less may also be redeemed by mail by sending both the ticket and a claim form to: Prizes, PO Box 777, Madison, WI 53774.

This new mobile option is designed as an additional service for those unable to visit existing office locations.
