Aspirus Health has announced the addition of Austen Jentges, DPT, OCS, to its outpatient therapies team in Tomahawk. Jentges brings eight years of experience in outpatient care and is a board-certified orthopedic clinical specialist with advanced training in treating muscle, joint, and movement-related conditions.

Before joining Aspirus, Jentges worked as a clinic director in Antigo and completed his orthopedic residency there. He earned his undergraduate degree from Ripon College, where he participated in football and track and field, and later received his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Concordia University of Wisconsin.

“Tomahawk has always been special to me because my family has had a cabin here for as long as I can remember,” said Jentges. “It means a lot to now provide care in a community that’s been such an important part of my life growing up.”

Jentges focuses on helping patients manage orthopedic conditions across all ages, including common injuries and chronic pain. “Low back pain is something I see often, and it can really hold people back from enjoying life,” he said. “I enjoy helping patients regain strength and get back to feeling like themselves again.”

Outside of work, Jentges participates in cross-country motocross races throughout Wisconsin. He also enjoys motorcycling, golf, hiking, and spending time with his wife—who is also a physical therapist—and their young son.

The Aspirus Outpatient Therapies team in Tomahawk provides physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy services. More information about these services is available by calling 715.453.7600 or visiting aspirus.org.
