Bradley Pansy of Neenah, Wisconsin, has been named one of 16 semi-finalists in the 2025 NASCAR Powerball Playoff. The announcement was made during the broadcast of the Coke Zero Sugar 400 at Daytona International Speedway on August 23, 2025.
Pansy earned his spot through the Wisconsin Lottery's NASCAR Powerball Playoff Bonus Draw, which took place in June as part of a national campaign involving 28 state lotteries. The semi-finalists were chosen from various in-state contests and second-chance drawings held throughout the 2025 NASCAR regular season.
The competition will continue over several months with elimination rounds that align with key races in the NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs. The field will be reduced from 16 to 12 at the Bass Pro Shops Night Race at Bristol Motor Speedway on September 13, then to eight at the Bank of America ROVAL 400 at Charlotte Motor Speedway on October 5, and finally to four finalists at Martinsville Speedway on October 26. Each round sees eliminated players receive cash prizes ranging from $2,500 to $7,500 depending on when they exit.
The final four contestants will win a VIP trip for two to Phoenix Raceway for NASCAR Championship Weekend from October 31 to November 2. These finalists will each have a one-in-four chance to win $1 million in a nationally televised drawing before the start of the championship race on November 2. The remaining three finalists will receive $10,000 each.
