Twelve lottery players have advanced in the NASCAR Powerball Playoff, moving closer to a $1 million prize and a VIP trip to the NASCAR Championship Weekend at Phoenix Raceway. Among those advancing is Bradley Pansy from Wisconsin.

Powerball and NASCAR made the announcement during the Bass Pro Shops Night Race at Bristol Motor Speedway, which aired on USA Network. The playoff uses a series of elimination drawings similar to the NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs, narrowing down participants from 16 to 12, then 8, and finally four finalists. Cash prizes are awarded based on elimination round, ranging from $2,500 up to $1 million.

Pansy said, "I'm very excited. The Lottery is my good luck charm. Hopefully, I can go all the way for Wisconsin."

The final four contestants will receive a VIP trip for two to Phoenix for the championship weekend from October 31 to November 2. These finalists will each have a one-in-four chance of winning $1 million in a live televised drawing on NBC before the start of the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series Championship Race.

The next elimination round will determine which eight players move forward and will be announced during the Bank of America ROVAL 400 at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Sunday, October 5. Those eliminated in this round will each receive $5,000. The event will be broadcast live on USA Network, HBO Max, PRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.

The VIP package includes airfare for two people to Phoenix, three nights' hotel accommodations with double occupancy, hospitality club passes for both major races that weekend at Phoenix Raceway, special access experiences including tours and pace car rides, meals and transportation.

Players qualified through state lotteries participating in this year’s campaign. Participating states include Wisconsin as well as Arizona, Delaware, Florida and several others across the country.

Last year’s winner was Meagan Lewis of Louisiana who took home $1 million after being selected in a live drawing before last year's championship race.

Updates about the playoff can be found on Facebook and Instagram or by visiting Powerball.com.
