Aspirus Eagle River Clinic adds family nurse practitioner Sarah Garrelts

Aspirus Eagle River Clinic has announced the addition of Sarah Garrelts, MSN, FNP, to its family medicine team. Garrelts brings experience as a registered nurse in various healthcare settings, including medical-surgical units, the operating room, and an outpatient cancer center where she provided chemotherapy.

Garrelts expressed her motivation for joining the healthcare field. “I went into healthcare because I enjoy helping others and want to work with my patients to get them as healthy as they can be so that they can enjoy the things they love to do,” stated Garrelts.

Her educational background includes a Master of Science in Nursing from Concordia University in Mequon and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Bellin College in Green Bay. She focuses on comprehensive and preventative care for all ages, with interests in diabetes management, weight management, and pediatrics.

“I’m committed to helping patients achieve their optimal health, enabling them to enjoy fulfilling lives surrounded by family and friends,” she added.
