Aspirus Health has announced an expansion of its E-Visit service, available through the MyAspirus app and website. The service now includes care for a broader list of symptoms and conditions. Users can seek advice for cold, flu, COVID-19 symptoms, constipation, cough, diarrhea, eye redness, heartburn, insect or spider bites, insomnia, rash, sinus issues, sore throat, urinary symptoms, vaginal discharge or irritation, and vomiting.
According to Aspirus Health: "Our expanded E-Visit service in the MyAspirus app or myaspirus.org now covers an even wider range of conditions and ailments, giving you quick, convenient access to trusted medical advice and treatment directly from an Aspirus Health provider."
E-Visits are conducted securely online. Patients log into their accounts and answer guided questions about their symptoms. A personalized care plan is provided by an Aspirus Health provider—often within the same day. The process is not live; instead patients complete questions at their convenience and are notified when a care plan is ready.
"E-Visits are a secure, online way to connect with an Aspirus Health provider about common health concerns. Simply log into your MyAspirus account, answer a few guided questions about your symptoms, and receive a personalized care plan—often within the same day. Think of it as a kind of text message; it is not a live encounter but rather you answer a series of questions and are notified of your recommended care plan," states Aspirus Health.
The cost of e-visits can be billed to most major health insurance plans. Cash payments are also accepted.
