While they play political games, our veterans are left homeless, families go hungry, and businesses teeter on the brink of collapse. It’s time to exorcise this shutdown demon. According to party officials, the shutdown has disrupted rental assistance programs for homeless veterans in Wisconsin. These disruptions may increase the risk of eviction for those who rely on such support.
