The senior adviser for President Donald Trump’s campaign said there will be specific examples of voter fraud given when Congress convenes on Jan. 6 if a debate is held regarding the election results.
Jason Miller said during an interview with Newsmax TV that the examples of voter fraud will be presented if Congress decides to go into debate when it is scheduled to certify the election results.
"Article II of the Constitution makes it very clear, the state legislatures, and state legislatures alone, set up the voting systems for each state, the codes and the way they are conducted," Miller said during an interview with Carl Higbie. "And what we have here is we have over 20,000 ballots that were cast without actually having a application on file, the mail ballots. Wisconsin's very clear, very specific you got to have an application on file.”
The Electoral College vote will be contested on Jan. 6 after U.S. Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) became the first senator to formally announce a challenge to the Electoral College vote.
Several members of the House have already noted their opposition to the vote certification.
Miller said that the evidence presented during the Congressional session would not be the same as what has already been presented in the multitude of legal battles involving alleged election fraud.
Miller said in Georgia, Arizona and Michigan there were also issues, like machines not being inspected or ballots being run multiple times.
"These are the specific types of evidence we want to present to the American people on the national stage and not allow local politicians to sweep it under the rug," Miller said during the interview.
Miller also said there is currently a group of Republicans that are suing Vice President Mike Pence to prevent him from confirming President-elect Joe Biden’s victory in the election as he is the person who presides over the Congressional session.
U.S. Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-Texas) is leading that effort.
"We hope Rep. Gohmert is successful in this and we will have a chance in front of the American people, next week to present these cases, all these evidences of fraud,” Miller said during the interview.
