Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love appears totally sold when it comes to new rookie teammates Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs.

“I don’t think they remind me of anyone I’ve played with in the past, but I think they’re two really good player that, once they get the system down, I think they’re going to be really good,” Love said in a video posted to Twitter. “I think they’re going to be able to play this year, right away, from what I’ve seen they’re really good guys. They got some hands, Christian can move, and Romeo he’s got some hands so they’re going to be good weapons.”

Drafted No. 34 in the most recent NFL Draft, Watson comes to town as the Packers top pick, boasting a combination of size, speed and skill that has many within the organization optimistic about him being able to immediately step in when it comes to filling the void left by the departures of players like Davante Adams and Marquez Valdes-Scantling.

According to Sports Illustrated, of the top seven receivers selected in the draft, Watson ranks sixth in over/under total receiving yards with 649.5 yards. Over the last decade, such figures have translated into just five players topping 550 yards in their first season, a goal the Packers clearly have in mind where Watson is concerned.

But team officials know there is still work to be done. As it is, Watson is the team’s only draft pick that has not yet signed, with Doubs and Zach Tom both having inked deals late last month.
