With the countdown to the Nov. 8 election in full effect, Vice President, Kamala Harris recently visited Milwaukee for the third time.

During a Sept. 22 campaign stop, Fox 6 Milwaukee reports Harris addressed the Democratic Attorneys General Association and met with groups of young voters and local Latino leaders.

“Today marks 50 days until the midterm elections,” Harris said in a Sept. 19 tweet. “Let's make every moment count. Volunteer to talk to voters. Make sure your friends and neighbors are registered to vote and remind them what's at stake in November.”

In January, Harris made her first trip to Wisconsin in 2022, Fox 6 reported. During that visit, she met with residents and discussed replacing lead pipes in the water system. Less than a year before that visit, she toured the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee campus and addressed infrastructure concerns.

Harris’ most recent visit comes on the heels of President Joe Biden visiting Milwaukee to speak at a Labor Day fest, Fox 6 reported. Biden and Harris have the support of Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers, who is running for reelection in November against GOP opponent Tim Michels.

Also on the ballot for the November election is Republican Sen. Ron Johnson, who is set to face Mandela Barnes, the current lieutenant governor, and Democratic Attorney General Josh Kaul, who will face Eric Toney, the GOP district attorney for Fond du Lac County.
