Trump and Harris tied in Wisconsin, poll shows

Former President Donald Trump (R) and Vice President Kamala Harris (D) are tied in Wisconsin in the 2024 race for the White House.

That’s according to a poll of Wisconsin voters released today by TechnoMetrica.

Trump and Harris both at 47% in a head-to-head matchup among likely voters, with 3% undecided and 3% stating a preference for “others.”

When multiple candidates are named, among likely voters, with leaners, the split is 46% for Harris, 45% for Trump, 6% for Robert F. Kennedy Jr, and 2 undecided. 

Trump and Harris are tied at 47% in a two-person race among likely voters, with 3% undecided, according to the poll. 3% of voters said they preferred "others." 

In a multi-candidate ballot, Harris has 46%, Trump has 45%, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. has 6%, and 2% of voters are undecided. 

19% of voters surveyed said they are not firmly decided and are willing to change their minds before November. 44% of Wisconsin voters said their neighbors are voting for Trump, 35% said their neighbors are voting for Harris, and 21% of voters are unsure. 

19% of voters said they have not yet decided firmly and are willing to change their minds between Trump or Harris. When asked who their neighbors are voting for, Wisconsinites said Trump by a +9% margin, 44-35%, with 21% unsure. 

52% of voters said the economy is among their top three issues, and 36% said immigration and border issues is among their top three. 

The majority, 60% of Wisconsin voters said they were better off financially under President Trump, and 52% of voters said the economy is among their top three issues. Among the top three issues within the economy, voters were primarily concerned with broad inflation, with 56% choosing it as their top concern, and food prices were second at 47%. 

In regards to the border, 55% of voters said they prefer Trump rather than Harris be in charge of immigration, while 37% said they would before Harris over Trump. 57% of Wisconsin voters blame Harris “entirely, a lot, or some" for the recent sexual assault of a 12-year-old girl in Fond du Lac by an illegal alien from Nicaragua. Additionally, 63% of voters support building/finishing Trump’s border wall.

The majority of Wisconsin voters oppose allowing minors under 18 to be transitioned/sex changed through surgery or pharmaceuticals, with 69% against it; 9% strongly support allowing minors to transition, while 56% strongly oppose it.

The American Greatness/TIPP survey was conducted online between August 12 to August 14 among 976 registered Wisconsin voters who were likely to vote in the November election.
