Aspirus Health appoints new VP for North Wisconsin division

Chris Blair has been appointed as the new Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer for the North Wisconsin Division at Aspirus Health. He will take on a senior executive role at both Aspirus Rhinelander Hospital and Aspirus Tomahawk Hospital.

Blair, a Navy veteran, brings over 30 years of experience in healthcare to his new position. His background includes roles such as Chief Executive Officer at Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville, Arkansas, and Chief Administrative Officer at Siloam Springs Regional Hospital in Arkansas. He also held positions at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Grapevine, Texas, where he was Director of the Progressive Care Unit/Inpatient Rehab and later Director of Business Development.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Excelsior College in Albany, New York, and a Master of Business Administration from Texas Woman’s University in Denton, Texas.

Blair expressed enthusiasm about joining Aspirus Health: “I’m excited to join Aspirus Health and serve in this role to provide executive leadership to our dedicated team of clinicians and staff who deliver essential services to our rural communities,” he said. “I look forward to building relationships with staff and members of the Rhinelander and Tomahawk communities.”

Teri Theiler, President of Aspirus North WI Division, commented on Blair's appointment: “We’re thrilled that Chris brings extensive experience in rural health care operations, financial management, and provider relations, which will be instrumental in driving our continued growth,” she stated. “Having a strong, visible leader in our communities is crucial, and I’m excited that he has joined our dedicated team.”

Beyond his professional roles within healthcare organizations, Blair has contributed by serving on boards for three Chambers of Commerce, the American Heart Association, and the Northwest Arkansas Council - Healthcare Transformation Division.
