My voice, and your voices, will be heard in the halls of Congress."

On January 25, she criticized Pete Hegseth's behavior and his confirmation by Republicans, highlighting potential risks to national security. She remarked that "Pete Hegseth is misogynistic, susceptible to blackmail, and abuses alcohol. The Pentagon isn’t Fox News- you can’t be drunk on the job." She further commented on Republican actions by stating that their decision showed they would support Donald Trump at any cost.

She observed that "Trump campaigned on a zero-leniency immigration policy, and I am unfortunately not surprised how many people are in find out mode."
