Rep. Gwen Moore, a long-serving member of the U.S. Congress representing Wisconsin's 4th district, recently expressed her views on several political issues through a series of tweets. Her statements reflect concerns about national leadership and trade policies affecting local industries.

On February 2, 2025, Rep. Moore criticized President Trump in a tweet: "Instead of 'draining the swamp,' President Trump is giving the richest man in the world, who donated over $250 million to his campaign, the keys to the Treasury and access to sensitive info and data. Welcome to the true deep state & height of corruption."

Later that day, she addressed trade issues impacting Wisconsin brewers due to international policy changes: "Ontario sells nearly $1 billion worth of American wine, beer, and spirits every year. And if you know Wisconsin, you know we make a lot of those. But now Wisconsin brewers will lose the entire Ontario market because of Donald Trump's Trade War."

The following day on February 3, Rep. Moore commented on what she perceives as misattributed credit by former President Trump regarding problem-solving: "We have seen this movie before- Donald Trump claims credit for solving a problem that he created. Real leadership is not creating a situation you have to rescue yourself from."
