Rep. Gwen Moore, a long-serving member of the U.S. Congress representing Wisconsin's 4th district, recently took to social media to express her concerns regarding actions by prominent figures Elon Musk and Donald Trump. In a series of tweets dated February 3, 2025, she criticized their influence on financial oversight and transparency.

In her first tweet on February 3, 2025, Rep. Moore alleged that "When Elon Musk bought Donald Trump, he bought access to your private financial information." She further claimed that interns with crypto expertise are examining sensitive personal data such as bank accounts and Social Security numbers.

Later the same day, at 18:49 UTC, Moore commented on changes in leadership within the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB). She stated that "Trump & Co-President Musk fired the head of CFPB." Moore highlighted the bureau's role since its inception after the 2008 financial crisis in protecting consumers from harmful financial practices and recovering billions for victims. She described these actions as an attempt to enable "bad actors" to misappropriate funds more effectively.

Concluding her posts for the day at 22:28 UTC, Rep. Moore shared her recent return to Washington D.C., mentioning her engagements with constituents and community groups over a busy week. She expressed her intention to seek accountability for what she describes as illegal activities by Presidents Trump and Musk. In this tweet, she vowed "to block their radical MAGA agenda."
