Wisconsin Attorney General Josh Kaul has announced the appointment of Riley Vetterkind as the new Communications Director for the Wisconsin Department of Justice (DOJ).
“We’re excited to welcome Riley to lead DOJ’s communication efforts,” said Attorney General Kaul. “I’m thankful he is joining DOJ to serve in this important role as we continue working to protect the public and ensure that justice is done.”
Vetterkind brings experience from his previous role as a public information officer for the Wisconsin Elections Commission (WEC). Prior to his tenure at WEC, he worked as a reporter for various publications, including the Wisconsin State Journal. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
