According to her tweet, these cuts are intended to fund tax reductions for wealthy individuals.

The following day, February 21, 2025, Moore commented on economic trends observed during Trump's initial month in office. She pointed out that "long-run inflation expectations have seen the longest month-over-month increase seen since May 2021." She attributed this rise partly to tariffs that adversely affect consumers while favoring tax cuts for billionaires.

Later on February 21st, Moore addressed concerns over public health preparedness amid a bird flu outbreak. She referenced an article stating that "President Trump's administration makes sweeping cuts government staffing and research funding." These cuts could potentially undermine the country's response capabilities to such outbreaks.
