As the election campaign intensifies in Wisconsin, Susan Crawford, a Democratic candidate, has enlisted the support of Bernie Sanders to bolster her efforts. The Republican Party of Wisconsin has criticized this move, describing Sanders as a "far-left extremist" whose ideas are "unpopular in Wisconsin."

The party highlighted Sanders' identification as a democratic socialist and his endorsement by the Democratic Socialists of America during his presidential run. They pointed out his advocacy for policies such as abolishing Voter ID, ending cash bail and mandatory sentencing minimums, halting deportations, and abolishing ICE.

Mark Pocan, described by the party as a "radical leftist," is also set to join Sanders at an event in Kenosha. The Republican Party claims that Crawford's campaign is aligned with what they call "the most dangerous elements of the far left." They listed several individuals and organizations supporting Crawford, including David Hogg, Citizen Action of Wisconsin, Indivisible, Working Families Party, A Better Wisconsin, Reid Hoffman, George Soros, JB Pritzker, and Mark Pocan.

The party accuses these supporters of pushing for policies like reducing the prison population by half, defunding the police, decriminalizing all drugs and prostitution, treating adults up to age 25 as minors, removing voter ID for mail-in ballots, and repealing Act 10.

The statement concludes with a strong assertion: "Susan Crawford is so out of touch with Wisconsin voters; it’s almost laughable. Bernie Sanders won’t save her campaign—he’ll only seal its fate. Wisconsinites know better than to fall for this dangerous far-left agenda."
