Gwen Moore, a longstanding representative of Wisconsin’s 4th district in the U.S. Congress, recently shared several updates on social media. Moore has been serving in Congress since 2005 after succeeding Jerry Kleczka and has a history of public service dating back to her time in the Wisconsin State Assembly and Senate.
On March 8, 2025, Moore announced her appearance on MSNBC with Reverend Al Sharpton, inviting followers to tune in. "I’m on @MSNBC with @TheRevAl right now! Tune in."
Later that day, she emphasized her commitment to defending essential social programs such as Social Security and Medicaid. In her post, she stated: "For so many Americans, Social Security is their only retirement income... I will not apologize and I will not back down from the fight to protect the programs that keep our most vulnerable afloat."
On March 10, 2025, Moore informed constituents about upcoming town halls scheduled for Saturday in Milwaukee and West Allis. She encouraged community participation by saying: "I have TWO town halls on Saturday. One in Milwaukee and one in West Allis. Add it to your calendars!"
