Representative Gwen Moore, who has served in the U.S. Congress since 2005 representing Wisconsin's 4th District, shared her concerns on the current political and policy decisions on April 14, 2025. Moore, originally from Racine, Wisconsin, and a Marquette University alumna, addressed issues regarding Medicaid, federal worker layoffs, and political leaders' stances on Donald Trump through a series of tweets.

On April 14, Moore posed a rhetorical question on Medicaid's future, asking "What was that about not cutting Medicaid?".

Later the same day, Moore criticized what she described as "reckless firings" by former President Donald Trump. She outlined a sequence of events: firing CDC workers amidst a bird flu outbreak, importing eggs from other countries, and placing tariffs on those imports. She declared, "Donald Trump's reckless firings of federal workers combined with haphazard tariff policy is doing NOTHING to lower costs."

In another post, Moore criticized the Republican party's leaders, particularly addressing former presidential candidate Marco Rubio. She asked, "@SecRubio, what changed since 2016 for you to debase yourself in front of the entire world to defend a dictator?"

Moore, who began her public service career in the Wisconsin State Assembly, continues to voice her opinions on national policies and political dynamics. She replaced Jerry Kleczka in 2005, and her career includes a span as a state senator from 1993 to 2005.
