A $50,000 winning Powerball ticket was sold in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, continuing a successful streak for the state. The ticket was purchased at Superior Discount Liquor, located at 4355 Calumet Ave., for the April 30, 2025, drawing. It matched four out of the five numbers, which were 1, 2, 3, 57, and 59, plus the Powerball number 9. This recent win marks the third consecutive $50,000 Powerball prize from Wisconsin retailers.

Previously, a winning ticket for the April 28 drawing was sold at Kwik Trip on 305 Elkhorn Rd. in Whitewater, and another for the April 26 drawing was sold at Kwik Trip on 907 E. Inman Parkway in Beloit. Up to this point in 2025, Wisconsin has seen a total of 10 $50,000 Powerball winners.

The upcoming Powerball jackpot for the May 3 drawing is estimated at $44 million. As an incentive, retailers in Wisconsin who sell winning tickets over $599 earn two percent of the winning amount, capped at $100,000.

Players have a 180-day window from the drawing date to claim their prizes. Guidance on claiming lottery winnings is available on the Wisconsin Lottery website. Additionally, players can verify their tickets using the Lottery’s mobile app.

Powerball drawings occur three times a week on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 9:59 p.m. Ticket purchase cut-off is 9:00 p.m. Tickets are priced at $2 per play, with a $1 option for the Power Play feature. The probability of winning the Powerball jackpot is 1 in 292,201,338, while the odds of securing a $50,000 prize are 1 in 913,130.
